I can’t deal with one more thing…


Recently during a 1:1 session I was met with the above sentence,

​Have you had the same thoughts ?!?


Have you wondered if maybe you weren’t doing something right or if there was an easier way 🤷🏽‍♀️

I sure as hell have and here’s the thing…

What even is normal to you anyway?

Maybe normal means having lots of things on the go, juggling constantly, moving from one thing to another 🙄 always saying yes, being that person that people go to because you never say no. Mayne not.

For many of you this normal seemed easy, its just what you did. But as time goes by putting everyone else's needs before your own starts to feel different, it affects you differently, wheels can start to wobble and maybe one of those wheels is on the verge of falling off.

Here’s what no one seems to know until it’s too late…

Taking it all on, always saying yes, making sure that everyone's needs are met can leave you stretched so thin that you don't recognise yourself anymore, you forget what it feels like to be
Happy
Joyful
Content or
Fulfilled

And if it’s not what I've described above, maybe you’re simply exhausted, fatigued, just bone tired from pushing shit up a hill for too long and maybe its a bunch of expectations YOU have put on yourself and maybe, just maybe it’s time to let go of that version of normal and create a new one.

Stress can be insidious, a fickle beast that sneaks up on you. But it doesn't have to be.

Stress is normal! When recognized, managed and has an end.

Stress + Rest = Growth
Stress + Stress = Distress

Understanding your triggers or pressure points, knowing your signs that the wheels are wobbling and having strategies you can call on can be hugely powerful!

It doesn't have to be hard!
